CNBC: Earnings are positive, but limbo remains

"Earnings have been positive, we've seen that double digit earnings growth in the first quarter...the hard data is holding up and has been resilient, soft data is coming back up and has been positive...[but] the S&P has been rangebound," said Balafas.
