Before launching GoalVest in 2017, Ms. Balafas managed over $4 billion in client assets at a global investment bank. She also served as a portfolio manager supporting more than 150 independent financial advisors nationwide, and over the course of her career has worked directly with more than 700 families to align their portfolios with their goals, risk appetite, tax situations, and cash-flow needs.
