Sevasti Balafas, CFA, CPWA® founder and CEO of GoalVest Advisory appeared on CNBC's Worldwide Exchange to discuss the current disconnect between the latest market rally and the reality of tariff negotiations and their impact on the economy.
"There's still a ways to go with tariffs and what that means and how that affects our economy," said Ms. Balafas. "I think the disconnect has been between that positive [market] momentum and then what we're seeing in reality, in the markets, and in the economy where that soft data and that soft sentiment is still pretty low... where people are not excited about spending just yet."
